Sita DeGiulio Das

I met Sita at an art show/music show for the first time a couple months ago. For me this event was a change of the normal, I had never done an indoor even that displayed a live painting, art for sale as well as live music. Sita and Delton Son {another local artist/musician} worked on a painting the whole evening. Watching her go from blank canvas to an amazing collaboration of paint, music and love was life changing. Sita had a handful of prints for purchase that evening which had an India theme as well as bright beautiful colors. I have to say out of the millions of images I have taken that a few of hers are my personal favorite. I am looking forward to her website being up in the beginning of next year as well as working with her in the future. If you haven't seen her work you really need to take the time to check her out. http://www.facebook.com/#!/sita.d.das this is her face book link as her website is in the works.

Julie Chang Schulman aka Julie C

I have had the incredible privilege of working with Julie a couple times now. Shes one of the most positive voice's in Seattle as well as people. Allot of people know her from her work in the community or Thur her music as shes a Emcee. As a cultural advocate shes one of the most knowledgeable individuals I have ever gotten to meet. Recently I was able to see her perform at an event, all I can say is this passive beauty was bursting with passion behind the mic. If you haven't had a chance to meet her, catch a show or hear her music you need to asap. You can find her on face book http://www.facebook.com/#!/juliechang206 you can find her music fan page at http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Julie-C/109492965768712. Tricia Douglas (Model)

Our session started on a crazy weather day in Seattle at Edmonds Beach. Inbetween rain burts we ran from the car down a long stretch of beach to the water front to shoot. Tricia is not only a very good sport but also a ture dare devil. I hadnt even gotten the question "want to get on this log" out of my mouth and she was headed up it. From there it was a pure joy, as the tide came in more and more her only concern was not losing the car keys. She was in a beautiful strapless dress (from torrid) with a small breath thru shall and it was freezing out. From the photos you cant tell she was a human popcycle by the time we wrapped up.
I have had the pleasure of working with her a couple times since our first shoot and every time is more fun than the last. Furthermore she is always up for anything, as far as hoping on downed trees or standing on the edge of a cliff. Its amazing what she offers as a model to the photographer. You can look her up on facebook at this link: Tricia Douglas Facebook she also has a model mayhem page I will be adding shortly.

Chef Ariella

Working with Chef Ariella (The Chef as we have come to call her) was an amazing learning experience with a super yummy bonus. The Chef came over one afternoon to teach my kids and I a class about veggies. It was simply amazing watching my super overly pickie 8yr old try numerous veggies and even some lentils. My 2yr old who isnt at all pickie ate everything she handed him. The neat part about it was every time Ariella handed my son a veggie she would sound out the name of it. He would simply reply apple to everything but it was really neat to me to see her make a point to teach as we cooked. She also got me a super pickie eater who avoids almost anything that is "meat free" to eat & enjoy her veggie dish.
Ariella offers not only in home classes and weekly meal plans for adults but for children as well. I am super impressed with the variety of foods she has and creative ways to get pickie kids & adults to try things they normally would refuse to. She also makes these super energy filled 4inch breakfast cookies which seriously are better than any starbucks/bakery breakfast item I have ever tried. I ate (against her directions) half of one at 8pm and was ready to run miles by 9pm. Lesson learned listen to the Chef, lol.
Chef Ariella has a couple different websites http://www.healthycreationsllc.com/ and http://www.spiceychefariel.com/ . Both of the websites offer updates on new products, classes and even cool contests to WIN FREE baked goods. She also has taken the time to set up a weekly email news letter which you can sign up for by emailing her at chef.ariella@gmail.com.  If you are a facebook user she has her page The Akwakened Palate http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Chef-Ariellas-The-Awakened-Palate/222111582112 for updates & free advice & cool recipes.

"Chef Ariella's goal is to create an experience for the client with a focus on the pleasure of eating healthy meals from a variety of cultures using the purest ingredients w/holistic benefits."

Kuddie Fresh (Mr. Williams) Producer

Kuddie Fresh was nominated this past february for two grammies along with his production team. He is well known amoung producers and r&b/rappers etc. in the Seattle area. He is born & raised here in Seattle, Wa (whooo hoooo) and only moved to ATL after being hired on to a company. Not only are his musical talents amazing but he is simply a blast to work with. I have had two seperate sessions with him and I will have many more if he lets me, lol. This past shoot we got a bit bawllsy and had him sit on the edge of a building overlaying the freeway. For me this was a first on a shoot where my motherly instinct took over & had me snapping fast & running over ready to grab him. Who knows what trouble we will get into the next session, but it will be well worth it I am certain.

Donny Wall (Producer)

Nikes & Vinyl is what I have named my session with D. Wall. He is known for his love of Nike shoes at the beginning of his youtube videos. As I walked into his studio it was clear his obsession for music goes farther than anyone I have ever met. He has vinyl recorders from other countrys framed on his walls and stacks of records as well. He not only is an amazing producer but he also plays the congos which I got to see first hand. I am truly looking forward to working with him in the future, he is simply a creative explosion of awesome beat style.

Brandon LoMax ProSkateboarder

Recently I had the chance to work with Brandon LoMax a skateboarder who recently went pro. Not only was this a new experience for me but it was my first shoot with my new camera. It went so amazing we ended up going to a few extra locations. Aside from skateboarding Brandon and a couple of his friends have started the process of opening there own clothing company. Its amazing how inspired this man is at the age of 18yrs old. He is truly an insperation for the youth of our town, community and world.
